Name: Bella
Breed: Boston Terrier
Gender: Female
Age: 3
Personality: Poor Bella was found as a stray who had obviously been wandering for quite a while. When we pulled Bella from the San Bernardino shelter she was skin and bones and was so thin that every bone on her body was sticking out. She had Giardia from probably drinking stagnant water where she could. Covered in bites we can only surmise she had been attacked numerous times by other dogs or coyotes. Because of her fear and resulting aggression to other dogs she will need to be an only pet. She immediately goes on defensive and offensive at the sight of another dog now and will attack them. In spite of what life had given her in the past, Bella loves people. She loves to be near her human and to snuggle up for a good head rub and kisses. She minds very well and knows how to come and sit on command. She is learning the doggy door and has had very few accidents when she did not have access to it. She is not food or toy aggressive and is learning what fun playing with toys can be. Bella is likely two to three years old and is still very underweight and happily eating 3 to 4 times per day to put some much needed weight on. She so loves to be with people and seems to be drawn to anyone willing to give her even a smile. Bella has had a very hard life and deserves to spend the rest of her days being treated like the good girl she is.
Issues: Dog aggressive
